This site is run by XL Health TT Ltd, #124 Charles Street, Gasparillo, Trinidad and Tobago. There are no accounts, no forms and no shop here, so we never ask for your name, address or payment details.

No cookies unless you say yes

When you first visit, a notice at the bottom of the screen asks whether we may use cookies. Until you tap Accept, neither Google Analytics nor the Meta Pixel is loaded and no tracking cookie is set.

One thing does load from Google on every visit: the typeface this site is set in, from Google Fonts. To deliver it, Google receives your internet address and browser type. It sets no cookies and is not used for analytics.

Two services start working.

Google Analytics

Helps us understand how the site is used. It records:

• the pages you view and how long you stay
• how you arrived, for example from a Facebook post, a WhatsApp link or a Google search
• your rough location, at the level of country and city
• the type of device and browser you use
• taps on our phone number, WhatsApp and email links, and on a pharmacy's phone number or directions
• the words you type into the pharmacy search, with any numbers removed

We use this to see which pages help people find a pharmacy and which towns people search for that we do not list yet. It sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID, which last up to 13 months. We have switched off Google signals and ad personalisation, so this information is not used to show you Google ads.

Meta Pixel

Tells Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram, that your browser visited this site, which pages it viewed, and when you tapped to call, message or email us, or searched for or got directions to a pharmacy. It is not sent the words you type into the search.

We use it to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and to show them to people who have visited. If you are logged in to Facebook or Instagram in the same browser, Meta may connect this to your account under its own privacy policy. It sets a cookie called _fbp, and _fbc if you arrived by tapping one of our ads. Both last 90 days.

If you tap No thanks

Nothing is loaded and no tracking cookie is set. The site works exactly the same.

The cookie that remembers your answer

Either way we set one small cookie, cookie_consent, so we do not ask again on every page. It holds only your answer and expires after six months, when we ask again.

Changing your mind

Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. If you switch from yes to no, we delete the Google and Meta cookies and reload the page without them. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a no and do not show the notice.

What happens on every visit

Like every website, our hosting company keeps standard server logs: the internet address a request came from, the page asked for, the time and the browser type. These are kept for security and to keep the site running, and are not used to identify you.

Calls and messages

This page covers the website only. It does not cover phone calls, or messages you send us on WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram.
